Filmska Inicijativa Sali (FIS)

Sali Film Initiative

The project strengthens creative education and community participation on Dugi Otok through film. It connects artistic creation with adult learning and international collaboration, empowering participants to express themselves through visual storytelling and English language performance.

Objectives:
• Enhance creative and language competencies among youth and adults.
• Promote intercultural dialogue through film education.
• Create a bilingual cultural event (“Festival Sali”) as a model for small-island education initiatives.
• Build long-term cooperation between libraries and cultural educators in the EU.

The programme is organized by the Croatian Library and Reading Room Sali in collaboration with EXIT Art Studio, with financial support from the Municipality of Sali and the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia.
